Our Mission
Serving East Central Texas Through the Power of Amateur Radio
The Leon County Ham Radio Club is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to promoting amateur radio as a hobby, a public service, and a critical tool for emergency communications throughout the East Central Texas region.
Whether you're a curious newcomer looking to earn your first license or a seasoned Extra-class operator, you'll find a home here. We partner with local emergency management agencies, hospitals, and served agencies to ensure our community has reliable communications when all else fails.

Free licensing study sessions, Technician through Extra, so anyone can get on the air.
Emergency Service
ARES/RACES trained volunteers providing backup communications for Leon County and surrounding areas.
